My first day at a new clinic went well. I learned about dry needling, back evaluations, shoulder mobilizations, and exercises. I also reflect on feeling self-conscious and not feeling prepared for this clinical. This is a 5-part series on my part-time clinical in outpatient ortho.
The 2nd year of physical therapy school has started! I was chosen to be a teaching assistant for the 1st year students, which is a lot of work on top of my regular classwork. I also go over my classes for this fall semester.
I give a brief overview of all the final exams and practicals for each of my summer classes, including acute care, differential diagnosis, and tests and measures. I also continue to struggle with my perfectionism.
